6. Peruvians are much better at introductions that Americans. Greeting people with a kiss on the cheek is the best way to go. I’m in love with this form of greeting.
7. Never carry your phone in your back pocket. (I've been told numerous times by numerous Peruvians)
8. Time goes by much to quickly in Peru.
9. Thieves are quick. Don't text on your phone too near the open window while in a vehicle—kind advice from a cool taxi driver.
10. Don't be afraid to ask for directions, most people here know where you’re trying to get and are extremely helpful in getting you there.
11. Bars are indeed a good place to socialize and improve your Spanish.
12. Sweet, sweet air conditioning is a luxury.
13. America is fat. Our portions are way out of control but you don't realize till you order a large drink in another country and are handed a child's size cup (without ice, of course)
14. However, Peruvians will feed you until you never want to even smell food again.
15. I can't take every stray dog I fall in love with home, Or any of them... :(
16. Keeping facebook updated is hard.
There are many things that are both beautiful and difficult to adjust to in this country. But I'm definitely not ready to return to los estados unidos yet. Weeks have already passed and I still feel like there's so much more to see and explore and learn.
